At the reception we will be serving a BBQ followed by a choice of desserts, some of which will be homemade. Therefore if you require a vegetarian meal or have any other dietary requirements please ensure you identify this on your RSVP.
It was 2009.
Leicester City were in the third tier of English football, Britain was still in Europe, and One Direction were just 5 unemployed young lads. Under a backdrop of spreadsheets and busy calculators a pair of eyes met across the office, and that was where our story began.
About a year later, following a rather inebriated night in Whitley Bay, it was official. In the ensuing months Michael gradually began to have less space in his wardrobe and drawers, so he decided to ask Emma to move in and begin the next chapter of their life together (and help with the rent).
Fast forward to May 2014 - following lots of laughs, a few tears, and a sprinkling of holidays - Emma announced she was pregnant. Cue baby-proofing the house and watching every episode of 'One Born Every Minute', until 4th February 2015, when our beautiful baby boy Elijah James entered the world and our lives would change forever for the better.
What was missing in their lives? A fast car? Wrong answer Michael. To make an honest woman of Emma. And what romantic gesture would this engagement proposal entail? A diamond ring and a bag of Haribo on the sofa one Friday night. Luckily she said yes!
Now it's 2017 and the wedding is soon upon us. So we hope you can join us in our celebrations on August 19th at Newton Hall, and help us write the next chapter in our story.
